For severe toothache, rinse with warm water and floss gently. Do not exceed the dose on the painkiller pack, and never place aspirin directly on the tooth or gum.
If you have facial swelling, fever or trouble swallowing, seek medical care without delay. Keep a broken tooth fragment in milk or saline.
